AcceptanceThe point at which the business end-users of a system declare, formally, that the system meets their needs and has performed satisfactorily during the test procedures. Unless a system has been acquired, installed, or amended, purely for IT department it is not sufficient for technical staff to declare it acceptable; the end users must be involved.
